Clio Brush Eyeliner in Kill Brown

30 May

From felt tip to brush tip ^^ Actually I have been wearing both alternatively. It’s still summer so I’m still into brown liners. I got this in Kill Brown. And I gotta say, I am loving this “Kill” names, hehe.

This also came with a mini mascara. I brought it with me when I went to Korea last March.

What I Like:

  • makes super thin, precise line
  • for Php695, it’s well worth it since I also get a mascara
  • no irritating smell
  • has nice packaging
  • waterproof

What I don’t Like:

  • staying power is good but not great
  • the mascara didn’t do much for me either. Doesn’t lengthen and volumize.

I don’t own any other brown liquid eyeliners to compare this too so I’m not really sure how it actually does when it comes to pigmentation. I am not super crazy about this but it’s not bad either so overall it’s an OK product. Sorry that’s all I got to say.

Update: Arrgh! how cld I forgot…. I do have a brown liquid liner from Majolica Majorca and they are comparable. Same staying power although I got to say the Clio one is tad bit darker. Let me know if you want me to review the MM Automatic pen Liners. I also have it in black and I know they we’re crazy popular 🙂

Clio Liquid Felt Tip Eyeliner in Kill Black

28 May

I love liquid eyeliners. Doesn’t smudge as much as pencil does. And the pen type just makes it much better. It’s more handy and easier to use than the conventional ones where you have to dip the actual applicator. Today I’m doing a short review of Clio’s Felt Tip eyeliner in Kill Black

What I Like:

  • No smudging
  • excellent staying power
  • easy to use
  • no irritating smell
  • waterproof

What I Don’t Like:

  • I don’t think a lot of malls carry Clio. I only see them at SM Makati
  • A little pricey. Php575
here's what the tip looks like

here’s what the tip looks like

Overall. I am loving this eyeliner. I’ve been using this since late Feb this year and it’s still good as new ^^. I may repurchase. I still have my eyes set on the Dollywink one though hehe ^^

That’s it… short and sweet. Oh! before I end this… I just saw Fast and Furious 6 today! It’s awesome!!! It still has all those unrealistic super car chases but what the hell!!! I love ALL F&F movies! but this one is probably one of my faves…probably because there’s a lot of Michelle Rodriguez & Gina Carano fight scenes!!!! woot woot!! arrgh…fan girl moment!!!!! sorry for the mini spoiler there. Anyways here’s the trailer from Youtube. Enjoy:

Clio Haul..Eyeliner Galore!

27 May

Sorry for the lack of post. Internet’s down and work has been sh*tty as ever. Even now I can barely manage posting something so I’ll just do another quicky haul for you guys. Yes, I know I haven’t even posted anything from my last haul..but I surely will..promise.

This is actually a collective haul. Got some stuff from Korea, some before and some after…

ok exaggeration lvl 999. But seriously I never bought this many eyeliners at the same (almost) time. I was super intrigued the first time I saw these. Probably because of Lee Hyori. While I never know any of her songs, I really really like her. Probably because she sports this very sexy “olive” skin. Haven’t seen her in person but if her color in the pictures are true to what she really have (which probably not — they always look much fairer in person) then I could say we have the same skintone…Mine not much on the sexy factor though, lol ^^ Let’s just say I somehow relate to her because generally in Asia, the fairer is always the better. As a matter of fact, she’s the only K-Pop star who has medium complexion. Plus I never saw her in the cutesie Asian girl bandwagon. She’s always fierce and edgy just like Clio makeup. Very much in contrast to most Korean makeup with cutie princessy packaging…just like it’s sister company Peripera. I think they really specializes on eyeliners because even the shop I visited in Myeongdong, I barely saw anything that is not eyelining but I saw in the net that they do carry face products. Here in the Philippines. It’s all eyeliner (plus some mascara and a BB cream)

So I got myself:

  • Liquid Liner (brush type) – from SM
  • Liquid Liner (felt tip type) – from SM
  • Mascara – from SM
  • Pencil Eyeliner set – from Myeongdong South Korea
  • Gel eyeliner – from SM

Again all will be reviewed individually..I promise

By the way in Korea I saw the model for Clio is transitioning from Hyori to Sandara. So she kind of graduated from Etude House which is just right because that little she-devil is getting edgier edgier. With the shaved side hairs and all, props to her for pulling that off.

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil + Sick day :(

8 May

I’m out sick today which sucks! I’m not gonna lie there are days I wish I am sick so just to skip office but today’s not that day. I have lot’s of deliverables so I’d rather be in the office right now (not really). ‘Well I’m blogging now why don’t I just work on those’ you might ask. well…I am not a fan of bringing work at home. I used to, when I was younger but I have been doing this for 7yrs now….people change. Priorities change…in that 7yrs I learned that some things are waaay more important than being “successful” at work. Like health and family for instance. so yeah, I refuse to work now….or maybe I will….bah! whatever.

Plus the hubby bugged me to go see a doctor. So I wasted 2 hours waiting in the clinic only to be prescribed pain killers and anti-allergies. Like I didn’t know that! duh! not to mention I shed some Php 400 on the consultation. 2 hrs and Php 400! I could’ve spent it on a spa that would probably make me whole lot better….probably.

**Organix Review starts here**

‘Moroccan Argan Oil ‘- kieme I’ve been hearing about it for a long time. Like it’s some revolutionary elixir for hair or something. I am quite happy with my hair routine so I didn’t bother trying this out since the ones available here before are quite expensive. Until my aunt from the States gifted me with the ‘Penetrating Oil’ but I never really had the chance to use it.

Last month I finally ran out of hairmask then I remember seeing from a magazine that Organix one is a “Cosmo Awardee” so it was decided that this will be my next hairmask. I finally got it few weeks ago then I remembered I have the Oil so I took it out and used it as well

What I Liked:

  • soft nice gentle smell
  • it is very light to wear
  • makes hair soft and smooth
  • the Oil is very light it doesn’t weigh my hair down although it’s an oil. the texture is somewhat more liquid-y than serum but not too liquid-y like oil. It is similar to the “Human Nature” one but I super hate that stuff.
  • the hairmask is light it didn’t give me hairfall

What I Don’t Like:

  • for the price (Php450–hairmask) and the hype it didn’t do much for my hair. It’s OK but I have tried better.
  • For the oil, the packaging could be a bit messy

That’s it! If you have a good Moroccan Oil recommendation, please comment below ^^

Online Haul + Antonio’s Grill + Ramblings…

5 May

WTF brain?! I had sooo much freetime this weekend, had lots of good materials, took photos already and then NO post -.-. I don’t know I just didn’t feel like doing it. But NOW! it’s 1 am…I have work tomorrow, I suddenly felt the urge to blog! like my head is really blasting with words now so good job brain….good job -.-

so I just decided to go with a quickest post which is a haul. I do short haul posts now cause I want to review them separately so yeah…haul it is ^^

as much as I like to finish my previous haul reviews before ‘introducing’ another one, I am posting this now because I am soooo excited! the  items that I got here are actually items that I have been eye-ing for a loooong time. They are also quite popular so hopefully there is an item here you will look forward for me to review…specially if you are from the Phils…

HAPPY!! It’s like a ‘love package’ that I see Youtube beauty gurus do a lot…it’s just mine is bought by myself because I am “forever alone” like that…. lols’s what I got:

  • Wet n Wild Color Icon in Lust
  • Milani Liquid-Eye in Black
  • Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer
  • EOS lipbalm in Lemon Drop
  • Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer
  • Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Blush in Natural
  • NYX MegaShine Lip Gloss set in Kiss The Stars

BTW if you want to know the online shop please comment below. I didn’t want to put it here because our transaction wasn’t that smooth(?) It’s not bad as well, I did commit some errors myself. I mean, at the end of the day I still got my items and that’s what’s important. However I have been buying online for so many years now I know an OK transaction vs. a SUPERB one. So yeah, just leave me a comment below and I will email you the seller. She have a LOT of items that is worth checking out.

so in the end this post is still kinda long and it doesn’t end here… I wanna leave you with a picture of what I had for lunch the other day…

It is sizzling bulalo from Antonio’s Grill in Tagaytay. Bulalo is basically a beef meat with bone marrow which we usually cook with soup. It is my first time trying it and I love it ^^. Went there with my family which made it more delightful. Our family is actually going thru some problems plus we haven’t went somewhere in a while so eating out even if it’s just for a while and not very far as Tagaytay. Means a lot to me ^^.

Hope you guys, had a wonderful weekend,

Maybelline Color Tattoos + Happy Labor Day <3

1 May

I have them for a while now but for some reason it is only recently that I have been in to them. I just keep on reaching out for them for easy 1 color eyeshadow looks.

I only have 3 and they are 25 Bad As Bronze, 30 Pomegranate Punk and 40 Tenacious Teal. First of, can I just say HOW COOL ARE THE NAMES?!? I just can’t get over ‘Tenacious Teal’ ^^. Embarassingly, the names are my deciding factor f which shades to get 😛 like I’ve ever used a teal eyeshadow in my life..:P

wow.I am quite surprised how good some of the pictures turned out. these we’re taken in my room with 0 natural lighting ^^

What I Like:

  • very pigmented
  • really blendable
  • buildable
  • can be worn as base or on it’s own
  • nice creamy texture. Not too oily or greasy

What I don’t Like:

  • not available locally
  • although it’s cream shadow I don’t like using it as an eyeshadow primer

so here’s what they look like….

as you can see Bad as Bronze and Pomegranate Punk is cracking up on the sides but that’s ok. As I said, I have them for a while now and the quality didn’t change at all.

here’s some swatches..

Pomegranate Punk - Bad as Bronze - Tenacious Teal

Pomegranate Punk – Bad as Bronze – Tenacious Teal

I totally see what’s with the hype. These are good GOOD good eyeshadows. I am totally in love with them specially Bad as Bronze. It’s a lovely neutral color that is great for everyday. I like that I can use this with out primer and brush so it really cuts a lot of time. It is a great eyeshadow to use specially in this kind of hot weather where my eyelids tend to be oilier than usual. So I really need something that adheres.

I’m pretty sure you have a couple of these in your collection too. Comment below…I’d like to see what other shades are great out there…

oooh!!!! I almost forgot…HAPPY LABOR DAY!!! I actually published this already when I remembered so I had to edit cause I just have to greet you guys! I hope your day was awesome…had some serious ME time…spent in a salon, got your hair and nails did, or had some serious relaxation in the spa…yeah, those are some stuff I wish I did but didn’t 😛 I just spent the day chilling out at my parent’s home in the computer because I got no life..lols!’s actually equally relaxing, I just love being here without office stress is my kind of ‘Labor Day’. So again, happy Labor Day Philippines! and also if you are in a country celebrating Labor Day today as well ^^
